Yes, I realize that it's a full FIVE days before Valentine's Day, so making heart cookies may seem a tad bit premature ... but it's not like I put up a Valentine's Day tree or anything! I'm finding that my child shares my love of holidays. Any holiday will do for her. Granted, her love of holidays is most assuredly contemporaneous with her love of presents. And sweets. And presents. But I'll go with it for now! It was also our 4th wedding anniversary so heart cookies were appropriate. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)
(my personal favorite is the large heart cookie on the far right with the bride of Frankenstein stripe!)
