Conversation in car today:
Kendall: "Mom, is NC in Texas?"
Me (annoyed): "No. NC is a state in our country, just like Texas."
Kendall: "NC is a state in Texas?"
Me (how much do I pay for her education again?): "No. Our country is the United States of America. Both NC and Texas are states in our country."...
Kendall: "Like Pluto?"
Me: "No, not like Pluto. Pluto is a planet in our solar system."
Kendall: "Pluto is NOT a planet, Mom. It's a ball of gas in space. Jeez, don't you know anything??"
Me: "Pluto will always be Mickey Mouse's dog to me."
Kendall rolls eyes.
