All day long Kendall has been spreading various blankets out all over the playroom floor to have "slumber parties with her friends." And all day long Kendall has been yelling at Ginger to get off the blankets. And all day long the poor dog continued to hold out the hope that the next blanket just might be for her. Finally, after her bath, Kendall laid down a blanket for herself, then got a sleeping bag out of the closet, laid it down, and called Ginger over to it. Ginger promptly made herself comfortable and (as if this wasn't sweet enough), Kendall grabbed a book, sat down next to Ginger and "read" her a story! The story was about dinosaurs and at the end, Ginger was asked if she was sad that the dinosaurs are now extinct. I'm sure Ginger is all broken up about that fact, but I know she was ecstatic that her little girl finally paid some attention to her!
